This is the story of Tanny

Tanny was found outside when concerned citizens heard her cries under their porch. They tried for days to coax her out with food and treats but they were unsuccessful. They could see she had a severely infected eye and were concerned about her health so they called OHS so we could help capture this beautiful girl.

After a couple more days, Tanny was successfully captured and taken to one of our veterinary partners to be examined.

Tanny was quite tame and in pretty good health other than her eye.

Unfortunately, the damage to her eye was irreparable and they had to remove it.

Tanny recovered with an expert volunteer foster in the care of OHS as she awaited her new home.

Today, Tanny is living her best life with her new guardians in Victoria, BC.

Cost of care: $1,800
