Meet Delilah! a bubbly kitten who thinks she is bigger than she really is! She can be a little bit timid at first yet quickly shows her playful personality, and is very interactive once you show her kitty toys! She is currently learning fetch and takes interest in toys that roll or make a sound! She also loves climbing kitty trees and watching out the window. When Delilah settles for the evening, she enjoys being close by her human. Although she prefers to be independent, she has a soft spot too for the occasional snuggle (especially snuggling under blankets), and she often likes observing/being included with humans! THUNDER
2 year old male cat.
Thunder has been a well behaved calm cat while in my care. He was very shy at first and still seems to be a bit cautious but he’s very friendly and enjoys pets and cuddles. He’s certainly earned his keep by catching a mouse that had infiltrated my house under his watch. He’s playful and can have a bit of a wild side at times but nothing out of the ordinary for cat. PEPPER
3 month old male kitten.
Pepper is like Charlie, super cuddly and loving and playful. Pepper is high energy and loves to climb and jump and is the first to have his nose in anything new. He is intensely curious and loves everyone. He has had some interactions with other cats and a small dog and it went well, although he did stalk a friend’s chihuahua. He is also a purr monster that cuddles when he is not zipping around the room at top speed. Pepper is a quiet cat who rarely speaks except when purring. FRED
3 month old male kitten.
Fred: he is quite skittish and spends most of the days curled up in the back corner under the bed. He will come out and play with a toy but is very guarded with loud noises and sudden movement. I believe with a little more time he will be more interactive and loyal. He is a good eater and drinker, and litter trained. No exposure to other animals or young children. FLUFFERS
3 year old female Guinea Pig
Looking for a foster or adopter with her bonded sister Midnight! Fluffers is not your typical Guinea pig, she has fluffy wirey black hair with specs of white. She is incredibly patient and flops when you pick her up, accepting your love and affection. She is very vocal when you pet her and is otherwise very easygoing. Guinea pigs are diurnal, meaning they are usually awake during the day and sleep at night, so they will not to disturb you with their rumblings at nighttime. Fluffers is bonded with her sister Midnight who is noticeably distressed without her, so we would much prefer that they go together as a pair. In foster in Kelowna. RUPERT
6 year old male lion-head rabbit
This friendly, funny, curious bunny is looking for a home where he can be King Bunny. He was rescued from the streets in Vernon earlier this year, in desperate need of medical care for his teeth and nails, and is now perfectly healthy, happy and hoppy! Rupert loves to explore his space and be picked up and pet for long periods of time. He is very confident, and would do best in a home where he is the only bunny, or possibly with another confident female bunny. Because of his confidence we would recommend a home with older children. This lovely boy' s name is Butch. He was rescued near Butcher Boys Grocery Store in Vernon. Butch is a happy boy who loves to play and has lots of energy so he needs space to let his energy out. MARY-LOU
1 year old female cat.
Mary Lou is a tiny, gentle cat who has been a good mama to her 3 boys. She came to us underweight and stressed, but has blossomed into a loving purr monster. She is happiest to be nearby and to be stroked, but is not yet comfortable with being a lap kitty or being carried, although she never scratches or bites. She is a low maintenance, lovely, gentle girl. She purrs like crazy when brushed and loves to wind around your feet. She doesn’t love other cats and dogs as she sees them as threats to her kittens, but that displeasure is in a hiss or quiet protest, no aggression, so I am certain she will get along with other pets when she is not defending her babies. She loves to sit in the window and watch the birds. She would love to move to somewhere with a catio, so that she can have some access to the outdoors. MIDNIGHT

6 year old male cat.
Pogo is very playful but a total scaredy cat. Will hide when guests come over, does not trust easily. Never scratches or bites, very tolerant of my two year old daughter, only one who actually plays with her but maybe because he’s seen her grow up in front of him so he thinks she’s his human. Hates to be picked up, and easily startled by loud noise. A total lovebug, loves head kisses and back pats, gives head butts, plays hide and chase. If he sees you sitting down, he just has to come and sit on your lap if he feels safe. Laila is momma to the two white ones ( POGO& MISHTY). been an indoor kitty all her life, Will escape if you leave the door open. Calm, cuddly, very very tolerant of children but not very friendly with other kitties, and will prefer to be the only kitty in the house. Loves being patted on her back, loves chin and head scratches but does not like being touched behind the ears. Loves lick-able treats. loves to play chase, Loves tummy rubs. Does not mind being picked up, doesn’t like it either, will give you a kiss to politely ask to be let down. Mostly sleeps on her back with arms up. Still a kitten at heart, loves to play, sit on your chest or lap. loves pets and scratches but doesn’t like your face too close to hers but appreciates head kisses. Gets total jelly when you pet other kitties and gives you that mean stare like ‘how dare you betray me like that, peasant!’ Tolerant of children and other kitties but will put a kitty in their place if they’re being too playful and she’s not in the mood. loves lickable treats, very picky eater doesn’t like wet food unless you blend it to a mushy texture. will only lick the gravy otherwise. She loves to be picked up and held like a baby. Always wants to be close to you, cuddle up under the blanket, could be your personal heater during winter. The calmest, sweetest and tiniest of them all, she still looks like a 3/4 month old kitten. Chatters at squirrels, birds and teaser stick toys. Picks one human from the household that she will trust and be a complete lovebug to. If you’re her human, she’ll follow you everywhere, will allow you to bathe her or cut nails. Loves lickable treats and dry food, human grade tuna, Loves to get her teeth cleaned with any chicken flavoured toothpaste and to get her hair brushed. Prefer to be an only cat, insecure because of her tiny size. Good with children who would respect her space, not too close. prefers window watching. BLACK DYNAMITE
9 year old female cat.
Black Dynamite, affectionately called Dyna, is a sweet cat who enjoys eating, napping, splashing in water, and eating some more. She loves looking at the birds outside and playing “camouflage” on any item of black clothing. She can be quite chatty and will let you know when she wants fresh water or another helping of food. She is fairly independent and likes her space but enjoys spending time with her humans. She is the perfect cat for someone who needs a fur friend who isn’t super high maintenance. She is not a fan of small children (teenagers are fine) and would be best suited for a home with no other pets as she is particular about having her own space. Charity loves, loves loves people especially children. She would likely want to sleep beside her future adopter ( was sleeping with my 8 year old son )She would likely be a great therapy cat. She loves to make air biscuits! She wants to be the boss, though so would likely not be great around smaller animals. She is quiet in the car, at the vet, and is very easy to handle. She drools and kneads when in the petting zone. She has a relaxed personality - she isn't very timid. She is very sunny, and happy around people.
