if you want a story he will tell you one. He is a very social and vocal cat, Like a partner in crime he only asks for company in return. This gem of a cat is truly something else. He gets along with any other cat as well. He loves his wet food especially chicken in extra gravy and lots of fresh water. He just loves to look outside and relax as much as possible. Not recommended for younger children.

BLAKY

Blaky is a sweet girl, she was abandoned at the side of the road with a ‘free’ sign on her carrier. She is slow to warm up, and enjoys a quiet space without loud or sudden noises. She needs some patience to get to know you. She loves to nose her way under the covers and have a long day sleep. She appreciates having a loving home and attention, but she’s probably best in a home without children or other pets. She’s looking for her forever home where she can feel secure and wanted for the rest of her days!

Hermione is an amazing cat, who has overcome many things in her life. She will need a very special, and patient forever home, who is willing to let her realize that people are good and safe. Hermione will need to be your only pet, and a smaller place (like a condo or townhouse) is preferred over a large space. Hermione will be the greatest forever and loyal companion to whoever is willing to give her a chance, and allow her plenty of time and space to trust you. She very much enjoys a cat tree with a nook where she can hide and watch her surroundings. Currently, she is experiencing a slight allergic reaction, so whoever adopts this beautiful lady will need to be patient with working through a diet, and be okay with her over grooming a bit until we figure out what serves her best. Kiki is a beautiful soul in the form of this lovely female kitty. She is a very timid girl who will do best in a quiet home, possibly with a single person and no other pets. Kiki loves to be petted and her tummy rubbed but she is very slow to come out her shell so lots of patience is needed by her next forever parent. She enjoys her food and treats. Winston is a very sweet boy. He’s a bit shy initially but once he trusts you, he’s very affectionate. He doesn’t like dogs and isn’t really a fan of other cats, although he may be okay with a senior cat who gives him his space. Unfortunately, Winston’s family had to move and couldn’t take him with them. So he needs a forever home, one where he will get all the love and attention he deserves.

RUPERT
6-year-old male Lion head Rabbit. Contact Kaylyn in Kelowna 250-718-8478. Vet Cost Recovery $75. Rupert was recently rescued from the streets in Vernon, in desperate need of medical care. He had discharge coming from his eye, his nails were overgrown, and he had spurs on his teeth because of not eating the right food for a long period of time, which required dental surgery. This wonderful bunny has since been cared for by one of our partner veterinarians and is settling very well in a loving foster home until he is ready to be adopted by his forever family. Shadow
8 year old N male dog, approx 20 lbs. MinPin Cross. He was found abandoned on the side of the road in the Chase-Falkland area, with a mouth infection so bad he was bleeding into his water bowl.

Shadow underwent dental surgery to clear the infection from his mouth, and then he spent a few weeks healing up in the care of his very kind Vernon foster family. He is now ready to find his forever home!

Shadow is a very friendly, settled, obedient middle aged dog that loves to rub his belly in the grass doing “the worm” and sit nice for cheese or banana treats - his favorite! He is looking for someone who will take him for many walks, give him lots of pets, and who will snuggle up next to him on the couch. If you’re lucky, he may even sit on your lap! He is good with kids and friendly with other dogs.
