Luna is independent and knows when she needs her alone time, often curling up for cozy naps under blankets or in her cat bed (which she’d love to bring with her!). She also enjoys a good scratch—so her scratching post is coming along too!

Odin is a very loving family dog who loves to be with his people. He loves to be outside, treats, cuddles, and follows his family around the house and backyard. He also loves to sunbathe outside.

Odin is great with kids. Odin would prefer to be in a one dog household (no other male dogs). However, he has lived with female dogs that he got along well with. Odin is not familiar with cats, so a cat household would not be recommended.

Odin can get very excited on walks when he sees other dogs, so knowledge of a large breed reactive dog is very important. He will need continued training and guidance to reach his potential.

Overall, Odin is a handsome, sweet, and affectionate boy who is looking for a calm household full of love and understanding.

Luna is a sweet cuddle bug who loves being close to her humans—so much so that she thinks her 60lb body fits perfectly in your lap! She is smart and eager to learn but would do best with a family experienced with her breed.

Luna came to OHS very timid after being unclaimed at animal control. Luckily, she was placed with an amazing foster family who helped her build trust and feel the love she deserves. She gets along well with the other dog in her foster home but she will chase cats, so a cat-free home would be best. Luna is a medium-energy girl who loves chasing balls and squeaky toys. She’s learning leash manners and how to settle, but she’ll need continued training.

Parker is a handsome Lab mix who is just beginning to experience the warmth of a home. He’s learning that being inside is safe, toys are for playing, and love is real. He leans on his dog friends for guidance, playing with the excitement of a puppy discovering his paws for the first time.

Cautious with new people and situations, Parker’s confidence is growing and will need gentle encouragement. Leash training is still new to him, and he’s learning proper manners. He loves to hear “Good boy, Parker!” and thrives on affection. He does have a big appetite and needs help pacing himself. Despite his past, he is always kind, even when unsure.

Parker lives in a foster home with kids, dogs, and cats, interacting with gentle energy. His greatest joy comes from his dog friends. Now, he’s ready for his forever home—a place where he can continue to learn, love, and be loved.

Meet Swagger! He has a gorgeous heart on his nose. It takes a little bit more time to warm up to you but once he does will purr up a storm. He loves to find warm hiding places such as underneath your blankets.He really enjoys when he can hear and watch the birds and when he is getting brushed.

Both boys are shy and cautious at first but once they warm up to you they are absolute sweethearts!!! Both are good natured and don't scratch furniture. They would be best in a calm environment without other cats and dogs.
